&^)&*%^&%, i can't believe it. Mine does this also. There doesn't appear to
be any adjustment i.e., a page setup for syntax file printing as there is
for output file printing. However, i'd bet this has been known for a while
and may be listed somewhere in the spss resolution datebase, and, if you
can guess the indexing terms can probably be found. Furthermore, i'd bet
there is an apology and statement that it will be fixed on 14. But, is
it????
I'm not a programmer but this sort of thing, along with something i noticed
about how either carriage return or line feed characters are treated when
blocked (selected) syntax is executed, suggests that what i'd think would
be standard, tested code in place since version 7 or before is, in fact,
rewritten in every version. How else does one explain such errors?
