Thanks a lot. But I need the Y variable to be dependend on observation. Say it is the year when a person got married and the array contains welfare recipiency for individual years, I just want to see what the person received during 5 years following their marriage. I will try the data _null_ approach from Ya below, it looks like the thing I need.
