About 2 pm on Thursday, I saw the first ever Field Sparrow in the yard. The Sparrow was feeding on the seeds of some short grass that I had not yet mowed. Now I may not mow that grass! (The Indigo Bunting was feeding on some of the same type seeds when it arrived several days ago.)
