Thanks to all that replied. Overall consensus - they are a family of Brown-headed nuthatches. I went to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology website and listened to their song. I recognized it immediately. They were a noisy family, too. Have never seen them around my house, though.

Thanks again. I might go back and see if I can get more pics. But that might involve a ladder. :)
