Saturday - no luck with BB Cuckoo from 6:30 to 8:30 (of course others saw it
after I left at 9:00!). Anyway, thought it was worth noting I had 2 AD YELLOW-
CROWNED NIGHT-HERONS over the main pathway just back from the boardwalk
junction towards the parking lot. Also had a Yellow-billed Cuckoo not far from
the BB Cuckoo site.
Today tried again for the Cuckoo after returning from my CCWA bird walk for
1.5 or so round lunchtime; no Cuckoos, but did glimpse an unidentified NIGHT-
HERON overhead.
From I75/85 near the State Capitol today had a EURASIAN COLLARED DOVE fly over
the freeway.
Cheers
