This is a great place for beginning birders since the landscape is very open
in most places. We will primarily focus on songbirds and, if time allows,
run up to Sosebee Cove and/or Ivy Log after lunch.

Directions: From Atlanta, take GA 400 north to Dawson Forest Road. Turn
left, cross over Hwy 9, continue straight into Dawson Forest. Pass through
the open gate and park on the right at the wetlands. Meet at the gate
entrance to Dawson Forest at the wetlands.
