Subject:   Hummingbird nectar thief

Thanks to everybody who responded to my question about the disappearing hummingbird food. I got 8 votes for raccoons, one suggestion of bats, and one person wondered if we have a bear (!, not too likely given how residential the neighborhood is). I think I'll tell my friends to take the feeder down at night, raccoons being the occasionally nasty creatures they are. Patty Jenkins DeKalb County
