Is there an "explorer" in EG ?

What follows is tested on SAS Display Manager. (I have sas9.1.3 sp4)

Once you have the explorer in the style you want issue command wsave

The settings are saved in sasuser.profile, so ensure you always open the same sasuser for your preferred SAS development environment.

The layouts of docked and "undocked" explorers are stored in different sasuser.profile entries. Docked layout is saved as dmsexp.wsave. Many undocked explorers may be open. Each can have its own settings. The first undocked explorer wsave info is stored in explorer_2.wsave. The next in explorer_3.wsave.

This might be really useful if you want more than one explorer open with different views.

There is a setting in tools/options/preferences general tab save settings on exit This may make the issue of wsave commands unneccessary, because they seem to be part of the settings that are saved. I prefer to switch off "save settings on exit" so that each new session starts in the preferred style. ....... each to their own .....

Good Luck
