Subject: Selasphorus Hummingbird in Buckhead (Fulton Co.)

GABOers,

Since that very cold morning of Friday, December 8, a probable female Rufous/Allen's Hummingbird has been visiting our feeders near Chastain Park in Buckhead. (I have ruled out Broad-tailed based on the wingtips projecting almost to the tail when she is perched.) I am hoping that she can be captured and banded soon; if and when she is positively identified I will post directions for those who would like to come and try to see her.

Bill Lotz Atlanta (Fulton County)
