I was at Pat Whites today for about 3 hours. The Calliope Hummingbird was really showing off. Sometimes perching just a few feet away from me. I could only sit an admire it. I don't believe this is the Adult Male. I think it's the same first year bird that I've been seeing all along. But the pictures are much better. To get a better comparsion I made a new folder for just Calliope Hummers. The picture I took today is a head on shot and the other more of a side shot. I have other pictures to download later. Compare the two pictures & see what you think. There's two ways to reach my site. Http://www.myimagehub.com/gallery/?a=Fotobirder or since you're already in the Gabo site, you can go to Bird Clubs-Click on Southern Wings and scroll down to Links. When you click on Links scroll all the way to the bottom and you will see Steve Slaytons Photos. Click here and it will bring up the site. You have to click on MY Files then the Calliope Humminbird file. Good Birding & have a Blessed day.
