Abdus,

I'll assume that you want to convert q1 from A30 to A165 as I don't clearly understand you.

Rename variables (q1=temp). String q1(a165). Compute q1=temp.

As for q2, use the format statement.

Format q2(f10.0) or (f10.2), depending on how many places to the right of the decimal you want.
