Usually during college days you have some data and some analysis stated
in the problem with you. But in real life most of the times I get lot of

What kind of data? From what field? With what numbers of subjects and
variables and where did they come from and what is goal of analysis and

I'm sorry, but the question, as posed, is almost "How do I analyze
data?"
I can see that you don't have a specific data set in mind, and that's
fine. But you need to provide at least SOME background, so that we know
which way to send you.
