A late group of migrating sandhills passed over Valdosta today at 2 p.m.
Three V's for a total of  90 or so sandhill cranes were headed north along
the I-75 corridor---first I've heard or seen in some weeks; the sandhills at
Grand Bay have been gone since early February.
