Subject: Surf Scoter in Spalding County
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Tim Bethune of Spalding County Soil and Erosion reported to me that he found a Surf Scoter at the west end of the Spalding Reservoir off New Salem Rd.

He sent me photo's via email that are quite good. We attempted to relocate the bird at noon today, but were unsuccessful.

N33 16.878, W84 22.525 are the coordinates of the boat ramp close to where the bird was seen.

We are going to attempt to find the bird again in a few minutes

Burt Crapo

Griffin, Spalding
