A lab test of what?
Is the thing being 'tested' a categorical variable, a continuous one, or what?
If it is a continuous variable, may we assume it is normally distributed?
If not normal, HOW is it distributed?
Are there 'clumps'? Is there zero inflation?
Where did you get the data?
