Birds Reported: Red-necked Phalarope Wilson’s Plover Red Crossbills Swallow-tailed Kite

A Red-necked Phalarope was seen in a little pond Tuesday, May 29 on Brandon Farm Road near Taff Road in Bartow County, southwest of Cartersville. http://listserv.uga.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A2=ind0705&L=gabo-l&P=R14602

A Wilson’s Plover was found Tuesday, May 29 at Carter’s Dam Reregulation Lake (Murray County). A Semipalmated Plover was also seen in the area for comparison. http://listserv.uga.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A2=ind0705&L=gabo-l&P=R14638

A Swallow-tailed Kite was reported on Tuesday, May 29 near Darien on Hwy 251 (McIntosh County).
