<html><body><div>I spent about an hour looking for good stuff at Cochran Shoals today. I missed a lot, I'm sure, but I did see one LeContes Sparrow and one Marsh Wren. To day that there was a lot of activity in the sparrow field is an understatement. Dozens of Eastern Bluebirds and Goldfinches watering and feeding, as well as dozens of sparrows including several Field, many Song, many Swamp, several Savannah.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I missed far more birds than I identified.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Also had one male Hooded Merganser on the river, and FOY Golden-crowned Kinglet on the Vireo trail.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>When I returned home, had first of year Hermit Thrush in the backyard.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>A nice afternoon.<BR><BR>Chris Lambrecht<BR>Sandy Springs</div></body></html>
