<html><body><div>I spent about an hour looking for good stuff at Cochran Shoals today. I missed a lot, I'm sure, but I did see one LeContes Sparrow and one Marsh Wren. To day that there was a lot of activity in the sparrow field is an understatement. Dozens of Eastern Bluebirds and Goldfinches watering and feeding, as well as dozens of sparrows including&nbsp; several Field, many Song, many Swamp, several Savannah.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>I missed far more birds than I identified.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Also had one male Hooded Merganser on the river, and FOY Golden-crowned Kinglet on the Vireo trail.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>When I returned home, had first of year Hermit Thrush in the backyard.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>A nice afternoon.<BR><BR>Chris Lambrecht<BR>Sandy Springs</div></body></html>
