Subject: Missing data help!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
I am absolutely new to the software (V 11.0) and need it for my
hydrogeological data analysis. I have the database in Excel and i have
imported it into SPSS. I need to do the following;
1.) Analyse the data in the software and have a homogeneity test to see the
variation in the data in order tohave a smooth plot.
2.) I have several fields which are missing due to lack of data. I need have
values in these fields to have a more reliable plot.
3.) Most of the data fields are in in form of a range...mostly of them are
of the kind <10, <2 etc. As instructed by the software manual, i replaced
the fields as -10, -2 etc. however, the valuse which i get later are also in
negevatives. I cannot use this in the plot since the whole plot changes
(into the second quadrant ofcourse.)
Kindly suggest and guide!
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks you in advance!
Aniket.-
