Subject: DFHLOG/DFHSHUNT and Dynamic Logstream Changes
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

Anyone have any experience with the Dynamic MVS Logger updates available since HBB7705? Can you actually make changes to the Logstreams without a CICS bounce and a subsequent START=INITIAL? Looking at the Redbook I referenced earlier, it looks like the Logger is smart enough to know when pending updates will get committed by updated parm. The section I read did not reference CICS in particular, but I would feel much better if someone told me they had done it and and it all worked as expected.

We will try it on a test region first (actually several), but any experiences?

Thanks,

Rob
