Subject:      tip: v9.3 or v10?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

A couple of years ago I had asked about some New&Improved feature or fix and got the reply: "That would be a v10 item."

But at SESUG Future's Forum I asked about v10 and got the following response:

as usual: \begin{quote}[pair-a-phrased]

V10? Who said that? We haven't been discussing v10.

Now, perhaps, v9.3, yes; and we usually need at least 18 months lead time for a new release.

\end{quote}

So: another reason to attend your friendly neighborhood Regional SAS User Group (RUG)

The Macro Maven's Purple Hat Crystal Ball speaketh:

"Expect (news of) SAS v9.3 in/by 'mid' 2010!"

Ron Fehd the I calls 'em as I sees 'em or macro maven CDC Atlanta GA USA RJF2 at cdc dot gov

or maybe sooner, ask the Magic Eight Ball:
