Barbara,

Are you using 16.0 or 16.0.1? Have you reported these issues to Tech Support? If not please do, as this will allow us to diagnose and fix issues.

Hello, SPSS 16.0 has so many bugs and problems (see earlier listserv) that I removed it and went back to 15.3. I can't believe that they have not fixed the problems yet.

Install the legacy Output Viewer to read older output files. Run setup.exe again and choose it from the list of things to install.

Dear list: I just installed SPSS16.0 and tried to open up an output file from SPSS15.0. I discovered that SPSS16.0 cannot open up a lower version output file. In fact, the output files generated from SPSS16.0 have the extension of .spv. (and not .spo). Hence, I will be unable to open up any outputs that have been generated from spss versions lower than 16. Is this correct or is there a way around this? martin sherman
