I have run SAS on XP home for years. It may take a specific Service Pack to ensure that it goes. I cannot run htmSQL or some of the utility programs there. But I can run plain-vanilla SAS 9 no problemo.

I am not sure weather you can Install SAS V8.2 full version on Windows Home, I had lot of Problems Finally I gave up
