David,

No problem.

Phil Rack and I run the SAS Consulting group on Google. It seems to get flurries of activity. Unlike SAS-L, the SAS Consulting forum has periods of slowness and then bursts of activity. I see it as a lot more focused than SAS-L in the sense that questions aren't repeated. They seem to be more about contracts and jobs, and how to run a business. If it is a SAS-L type question, I direct them here.

We keep it private so we can be frank in our discussions.

Alan

Alan,

Thanks for you suggestion. I've applied for your group and the truth is I'd never used any google groups and now that I'm signed up there seem to be a wealth of job opportunities within the groups.

You may have given me the best lead I've had in years. Thanks very much.

David
