I just thought I'd do another check on this, as we are continuing to
have sporadic problems here (notably this morning).

Our network folks are currently of the opinion that the problem is at
the SAS end (they seem to be dropping) rather than here.

I'll see if I can check with SAS Tech Support or webmaster as well.
