I would certainly pass on the opportunity to spend that much extra money just because of an additional processor. Sheesh!

Chris, have you considered a hybird solution? Perhaps keeping SAS on the desktop for analytics and licensing WPS on the server to do reporting and data aggregations. Many people don't realize that WPS can read and write SAS data sets. You also get the ability to retain using the SAS language.
