Subject: Average Problem Question

Hi Everyone,

I have monthly data with 248 funds. In a particular year, let's say in year 2006, some of these funds have all 12 months observations, but some may have only 4 or 5 months observations. I want to know what is the average monthly net assets of each individual fund and then add all these (248 funds averages) to get the average combined net assets for year 2006.

Is there any way we can use SAS to compute this.

Thanks
