Mary, yes, I'm now in Omaha at the Univ. of Nebr Medical Center, thus the
reason I haven't contributed to the list for a few weeks -- the transition
to a new working and living envirnoment was most time consuming. I'm
originally from Nebraska (south central portion where my family still
lives) and I did my undergraduate degree at UN-Lincoln years ago, so it is
like coming home in a sense (even though Omaha has always felt like a big
city). My job situation at Oregon has been a bit on the uncertain side
for the past two years due to a change in leadership -- and there was very
few opportunities to offer training or to emphasize why SAS is important
to a research institution, esp. one of the few places of higher education
at the Division I level that doesn't offer much regarding an applied
statistics program of study. I do miss Oregon though as I had deep roots
there as well, living almost 15 years in Eugene and Corvallis.
Thank you for your note of interest.
Robin

NEBRASKA!!! Welcome to the Midwest, Robin! What on earth persuaded you to
move from Oregon to Nebraska? Not that Omaha isn't nice, it is.
