Thanks for your reply, here is the correct output format that i desire. the problem i am facing is to merge the group serial number and the serial number of records in the same column. further i cdnt workout with the indent option when generating with html output. can the same be achieved by monotonic() function or some other method. so that it remains dynamic and solves the purpose.
