Subject: OT: meaning of co-segregate
Comments: To: sas-l@uga.edu

What is the meaning of co-segregate? Is it co-exist?

Examples:

Blood Pressure and Insulin Resistance Cosegregate at Two Distinct Regions on Chromosome 7

Bipolar disorder appears to genetically co-segregate with the hereditary B12-deficiency disorder pernicious anemia.

The two commercially significant traits, large seed size and high protein seed content, cosegregate with the pink flower trait.

Thank you

Michelle Z.
