In the weigh station resting lot (extreme rear edge along the woods line)/
just east of exit 41 on I20E this morning in
Lithia Springs,GA were no less than:
4 Magnolia warblers
2 Palm warblers
2 American redstarts
4 Chestnut sided warblers
1 Wilsons' warbler (m)
1 Yellow-billed cuckoo
2 Downy woodpeckers
2 Ruby throated hummingbirds
1 Rose breasted grozbeak (female)
4 Bluejays, 1 doing a partial bobwhite call : )
8 American goldfinch
3 Northern cardinals
2 Gray catbirds
2 Eastern phoebe
2 Brown thrasher,calling, no visuals.
1 Thrush species, skulking under the undergrowth where one thrasher was calling from.
1 Belted kingfisher (f) rattling, then flew right over the lot.
2 Red-tailed hawks, resident birds
9 Fish crow
2 American crow
6 TV's , circling overhead (not 6 television sets : )(Cathartes aura)
2 Song sparrows.
