Good morning Central Region Teachers,

Just a few reminders and updates for Feb.  Attached is the revised calendar
that was sent in August.  Please print this out for your use for all the
CDE changes that were made due to budget restrictions.

Also I have had several questions concerning the second semester enrollment
form.  I will send that form next week due to many schools just beginning
their second semester last week because of a late school starting date.


It is hard to believe that it is almost Feb. one of the busiest months of
the year.  I am already beginning to receive notices of positions that will
be open for next year and the apprentice teachers will be starting their
student teaching experience next week.  Encourage them in this exciting

time.

Also please remember to submit your supplemental rosters with your second
semester members.  Membership is required 10 days BEFORE an event.

The success of our program is in your hands with the quality of
instruction, FFA participation and student project recognition.  Remember
to send John Allen your Proficiency areas by Feb. 1st.  A list of areas

that have no participants will be sent the first of that week.  I realize
that Feb. 15th is on Sunday therefore applications must be in our office by
5 PM on Monday, Feb. 16th.
