CFA is not possible in any version of SPSS Base, but available in SPSS AMOS. AMOS (Analysis of MOment Structures) is an standalone SEM software of SPSS.

Is it possible to do a confirmatory factor analysis with SPSS version 12 or
do I need another program. I know it can do a Principal Components
Analysis, but I did not see CFA. Any thoughts?
