Perhaps we could be of more help if you gave us a little background on
what pn and c1 represent and what did you do about the ci factor in the
first analysis?

Subject: Repeated Measures ANOVA- different results
I am a little confused and I hope someone can help me. These are the
results
I get if I just use one within-suject factor BUT......
Tests of Within-Subjects Contrasts
Measure: MEASURE_1
Source pn Sum of Squares df Mean Square F Sig.
pn Linear 113.288 1 113.288 36.768
.000
pn * condition 7.587 2 3.793 1.231 .299
Error(pn) Linear 178.708 58 3.081
These are the results if I use 2 within-subject factors... Why are the
SS so
different for the same variable? HELP
Tests of Within-Subjects Contrasts

pn 58.525 1 58.525 37.727 .000
pn * condition3.240 2 1.620 1.044 .358

pn * ci * condition 3.311 2 1.655 1.134 .329
