I took my sabbatical last year, so I'm going! I've made reservations at the less expensive hotel. As far as the meal deal goes, there are numerous restaurants in the conference area, and I'm sure I can get a meal for a lot less than $50. Even with Scott Adams for entertainment that is a lot to pay for a chicken dinner. My company may or may not help; they have said they would like us to attend but not followed up on it. I will most certainly miss Dave Johnson.
