Subject: What does this statement do IF "" =: '*' THEN ; ?

Hi there,

When we use %annomac provided by SAS, if mprint is turned on, we can sometimes see this kind of statement:

IF "" =: '*' THEN ;

Can someone explain what does it mean? Why it is used?

Thanks

Ya
