Hi folks,

I was delighted when Tracey told me she saw 2 Common Ground-Doves in our yard today. This was the first sighting in several months, and I was afraid they were gone. We burned the yard on Sunday, so maybe that brought them back. We burned it 2 years ago.

About 3pm today I was at the Grove street fire station when about 220 Sandhill Cranes flew noisily overhead, in an almost due-north direction.

Cheers, Charlie Muise Lamar County
