Subject: Ocmulgee Audubon Activities for February
Ocmulgee Audubon in Macon would like to extend an invitation to participate
in its February activities.
Monday, February 9, 2009 at 7:30 PM, at the Macon Museum of Arts and
Sciences, 4182 Forsyth Rd, OAS members Bill and Sandy Flatau will present a
program with highlights from their recent trip to South Africa. Please come
join us to hear some great stories and see some wonderful photos.
Saturday, February 14 at 9:00 AM. OAS will venture into the Ocmulgee
National Monument for the monthly field trip. Meet in the visitor center
parking lot at 9:00 AM. The trip involves moderate walking, so wear
comfortable shoes, dress for the weather, and bring water. The group usually
returns to the visitor center by 12:00 noon. Please contact Paul Hoinowski
at 478-745-5174 for details.
Note: Ocmulgee Audubon Society requires that children and youth 15 years of
age and younger be accompanied by a parent or guardian on all OAS field trips.
