At 1315 hours (that is 1:15 PM for you
civilians), a group of sandhill cranes
was moving north between the Roberta
suburbs and metropolitan Musella in
northern Crawford County. They were
far to my east and I could barely make
them out...but could hear them plainly.
I was a little slow (okay, I was just plain
lazy) getting outside today, so I don't
know if that was the first wave or if they've
been coming through all morning.
What a gorgeous day!
