Subject: proc means Vs proc glm

Hi all.

If I have the following,

1) proc means mean stderr lclm uclm; var weight; class group; run;

2) proc glm; class group; model weight=group / solution; lsmeans group / pdiff stderr cl cov; run;

which is more appropriate to get the mean weight, standard error and 95% C.I?

Many thanks in advance.

Have a great day.

Thanks, Ching
