I have some code I run every week that updates a series of datasets. We are actively collecting data and once a week the data are downloaded and I update the SAS datasets.

It would be great if I could just tell SAS what the new date code to look for. As is I open the program, change the macro variable and then run code.

Is there a way to set a macro variable on the line command to run SAS in batch mode?
