Subject: Unknown gastropod from a Galápagos core
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

Dear listers

A researcher forwarded a query about an unknown small gastropod (about 8-9 mm long) from a core from the Galápagos Islands dated at about 3500 years old. Do you know what it is (to the lowest possible level)?

See a couple of photos at: http://picasaweb.google.com/mollusca/Galapagos?authkey=Gv1sRgCPuEu6fI7KWX6QE&feat=directlink

or use this tiny URL: *http://tinyurl.com/o2dpg8*<http://tinyurl.com/o2dpg8>

Thanks, Fabio
