Try Multinomial Logistic Regression. bozena ________________________________ From: SPSSX(r) Discussion [SPSSX-L@LISTSERV.UGA.EDU] On Behalf Of Muyiwa Oladosu [fso226@yahoo.com] Sent: Friday, June 05, 2009 8:55 AM To: SPSSX-L@LISTSERV.UGA.EDU Subject: Need Help with dependent variable

Dear List:

I am trying to run regression models on dependent variable with three categories, and independent variables. The dependent variable is "condom use status," captured with three categoroes-- 1. non-users, 2. in-consistent-new users, and (3) consistent users.

I would like to know which synthax will be appropriate to run the models in SPSS. Most of the independent variables are ordinal or norminal variables.

Thanks for your help.
