...and just to complicate matters, it's my understanding that the great
German-American psychologist Kurt Lewin originally pronounced his name
"le VEEN", but after many years in the US, he came to feel the
American pronunciation "LOO-in" was more natural, and asked
others to pronounce it that way. Don't know if Rensis Likert ever
came to regret the "lick" prenounciation.<br>
