Subject: Red-necked Phalarope, American Proteins
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hi, folks, there was an immature Red-necked Phalarope at American Proteins this evening (first observed at about 7:15PM until I left at 7:30). Other shorebirds included 6 Least Sandpipers, 5 Solitary Sandpipers, 2 Spotted Sandpipers and 4 Blue-winged Teal. The water levels are still relatively high (not much mud). The phalarope was swimming & spinning along & among the submerged grasses on north edge of the large lower middle pond.

Take care,
