Dear December 2009 Graduation Candidates,

Remember that the December commencement ceremony for graduate degree candidates is on FRIDAY, December 18, at 2:30 p.m. in Stegeman Coliseum. Candidates for graduate degrees should arrive by 1:30 to check in. See more info below.

All candidates for graduate degrees participating in the commencement ceremony must wear UGA graduation regalia (cap, gown and hood). The UGA Bookstore is having its GRADUATION REGALIA CELEBRATION for December 2009 commencement on October 13-15, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the bookstore. This is the best opportunity to purchase your regalia as well as other items (invitations, announcements, diploma frames, etc.).

Doctoral candidates who wish to purchase fine quality regalia should order by October 15. You must go to the bookstore to be measured for fine quality regalia. These items take several weeks to be made especially for you.

If you have questions about purchasing your cap, gown and hood, please stop by the bookstore or call 706-542-3171. Complete information about the commencement ceremony is available here:

Congratulations on your impending graduation!
