Hey everyone,
I just had PASW Statistics 18 (The Program Formerly Known as SPSS, a la
Prince) installed on my computer. Has anyone else had a chance to kick
the tires on it?
Thus far, the whole interface seems much more 'snappy' and the output,
FINALLY, isn't crippled. Some other minor things that drove me crazy in
v 17 that are now fixed in v 18:
* The Delete key now erases variables in the Variable View
* Variable names can be copied and pasted to and from Excel without
issues
* Dragging variables is smoother - still not as good as v 15 though
* After bringing up the Find window and searching for a result, pressing
the Esc key will now close the window (Previously, you had to click in
the window again)
Does anyone have an idea when the Programmability in SPSS Statistics 18
will be released? I've grown quite accustomed to the "SPSSINC CREATE
DUMMIES" custom dialog box and I'd love to have it in v 18 as well.
