Subject: STRATA in Proc Logistic
Comments: To: sas-l@uga.edu

Dear all,

I am using the 'strata' command in proc logistic to run my matched case control study.

However, I have noticed that the run is very slow when I use Strata. Normally, if I just put covariate variables in the model without using strata, the run is fast.

Can you please tell me why Strata slows things down?

Any way to make the run faster?

thanks, claus
