Subject: Call for Abstracts - 10th Annual Graduate Interdisciplinary
Conference
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;
Dear UGA Graduate Students,
The Graduate Student Association and The Graduate
School want to notify you about the upcoming 10th
Annual Graduate Interdisciplinary Conference, which
will be held on March 27, 2010 at the University of
Georgia's Tate Student Center. The theme for this
conference is entitled Health and the Disciplines
and we are looking for masters and doctoral students
of all disciplines to present their current or new
research concerning the health, condition, and
vitality of their particular field or research
topic. We hope this conference will be an
educational and networking event bringing graduate
students from the humanities and the sciences
together, who attend the University of Georgia and
other regional universities.
To participate as a conference presenter we are
asking for interested students to submit abstracts
for paper and poster presentations or panel
discussions by January 15, 2010. Being a conference
participant is a great opportunity to gain
experience in presenting personal research, add
something substantial to your resume, and interact
with emerging scholars of other disciplines.
To learn more about the conference theme and find
out details about how to submit abstracts, please
visit the conference website at
http://sites.google.com/site/ugaconferencesite/home.
If you have questions about the conference or how to
submit abstracts, please e-mail the Graduate Student
Association at ugaconference@gmail.com (do not reply
to this email). We are very excited about this
conference and hope you will consider presenting
your research!
Sincerely,
The Graduate Student Association
