Make plans to attend on Tuesday, April 6, when Ambassador Andrew Young will speak for the Tenth Annual Mary Frances Early Lecture.

* April 6, 2010

* 4 p.m.

* UGA Chapel

Ambassador Young is a prominent figure in our national history as a leader in the civil rights movement, U. S. Congressman, and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. In the 1960s, he served as a top aide to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. More recently, Ambassador Young has focused on building the economies of Third World nations.

The lecture recognizes Ms. Early, the first African-American UGA graduate, for her dedication toward making UGA an institution of higher learning for all people.
