I have nothing to do with this, except I got this email today because someone knows I love shorebirds (and plovers in particular), and so I thought I would pass it along. Pretty good photos.

"An interesting sighting for you shorebird types. Not sure if you saw this report (I'm not sure where the observer sent the photos for an opinion), but thought you would be interested. I'm working in Maine at the moment, so I check the Maine birding list every day.
